What you can expect here

Short version: ask anything, nobody will pressure you, and if something feels wrong you tell us and we deal with it.

No question is too basic

People arrive here worried they should already know something. You should not. The rules changed, the mail is deliberately confusing, and the people who wrote it were not trying to be clear. Ask the question in whatever words you have.

Nobody here is allowed to pressure you

Every professional agreed, in writing, to explain options plainly and never to rush anyone. If someone tells you a deadline is tonight, or that you must decide now, or makes you feel foolish for asking — that is not a personality clash, it is a breach of what they signed, and we want to know.

You will also never be contacted out of the blue by a professional because you read their answer. They cannot start a conversation with you. There is no messaging on this site at all. If you want to speak to someone, you reach out to them, in your own time, or not at all.

What we do not allow

  • Pressure, urgency, or being made to feel silly for asking
  • Adverts dressed up as answers
  • Anyone asking for your Social Security number, bank or card details, or a password — nobody legitimate will ever ask for these here
  • Unkindness, dismissiveness, or arguing at someone rather than helping them
  • Answers that are simply wrong, when the person should know better

Please do not post

Anything private: your address, phone number, policy or account numbers, or medical detail you would not say out loud in a waiting room. Your question is public, and it stays public. Describe your situation without the identifying parts — "I am 71 and on three medications" is plenty for someone to help you.

Telling us when something is wrong

Every question and every answer has a small Report link. It takes one tap and a reason. You are never named to the person you reported.

If three different people report the same thing, it comes off the site straight away and we look at it afterwards — we would rather take something down for a few hours by mistake than leave it up while we deliberate.

If it is urgent, or about someone contacting you off the site, email legal@seniorsupportguild.com or call 214-552-7810. We answer promptly.

You can leave at any time

Close your account, or use the Do Not Contact form and we stop contacting you entirely — no reason needed, no one will ring to ask why. It is free to be here and free to stop.

What we are not

We are not an insurance company, a pharmacy, or a government agency, and we are not connected to Medicare. Answers here are general information from independent professionals, not advice about your particular situation. Anything that matters, check against your own plan documents. Our full Terms and Privacy Policy say all of this properly.
