The thing that costs people most is not choosing the wrong plan. It is choosing under time pressure in the last week of a window, because somebody told them they had to decide right now.
You almost always have more time than you are being told. Bring your list of doctors and your actual pill bottles to any conversation, and if the person in front of you will not check both against the plan while you watch, that is your answer about them.
